Finding Inspiration: Fuel for My Music

Inspiration is everything to me as an artist. Without it, I don’t think I could write a single lyric or compose a beat that truly speaks to who I am. It’s the spark that drives everything I create. But if there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that inspiration doesn’t come from just one place. It’s everywhere, in everything I experience, and in everyone I meet.

I draw a lot of inspiration from my family. Growing up surrounded by musicians, I’ve always had a deep respect for the craft. Watching my relatives perform, seeing how they connect with music on such a personal level, really shaped my perspective. It made me want to find my own voice, my own sound. There’s something powerful about having that legacy to lean on—it reminds me that music is in my DNA.

But life itself is probably my biggest source of inspiration. Everything I’ve been through, good and bad, finds its way into my lyrics. The challenges I’ve faced, the victories I’ve celebrated, the quiet moments of reflection—each of these experiences fuels my creativity. Sometimes inspiration comes from late-night conversations with friends, or even from observing random moments on the streets of Vilnius. I believe that if you keep your eyes and heart open, you can find something inspiring in the simplest things.

The world of music, of course, is a constant well of inspiration. I listen to everything I can—from old-school rap to new sounds that are breaking through the scene. It’s not just about trying to emulate what’s out there, but about understanding the stories other artists are telling and how they’re pushing boundaries. I love seeing how diverse the rap scene has become, and it encourages me to keep exploring my own boundaries, to stay authentic to myself while still evolving with the times.

That said, inspiration can sometimes be elusive. There are days when nothing seems to click, and that can be frustrating. But I’ve learned that those moments of creative block are part of the process too. Sometimes, stepping away, getting out of my routine, or just experiencing something new is all it takes to get the creativity flowing again.

For me, inspiration is an ongoing journey. It’s about staying curious, staying open, and never taking for granted the little things that can spark something big. Every song I write, every project I work on, is a reflection of what has inspired me at that moment, and I hope that my music, in turn, can inspire others. Whether it’s to get through tough times, celebrate life, or simply reflect, I want my music to be a source of connection.

Inspiration is out there, everywhere. You just have to be ready to receive it.
